The Regina Hotel in Wengen, Switzerland, represented by Ariane and Guido Meyer, directors and owners, was awarded by the distinction European Hotel Awards 2019 – Art of Hospitality, during the ceremony of the European Hotel Awards, in partnership with Champagne Collet, which was held within the mythical Grand Hotel Kempinski Geneva in Geneva, on Monday March 18, 2019.

The members of the board of the European Hotel Awards and Jérôme Chapman, President and founder of the European Hotel Awards by References, honored the Hotel Regina for the high professional value of the establishment. During the ceremony, the “European Hotel Award Art of Hospitality 2019” was presented by Madame Hilary Murphy, Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne.

Built in 1894, the Hotel Regina is a splendid Victorian-style building, located at 1500 meters above sea level with a spectacular view of the Jungfrau mountains, the Silberhorn and a bird’s eye view of the Lauterbrunnen valley and its impressive waterfalls..

Owned by Ariane and Guido Meyer, the Hotel Regina welcomes a fine clientele from all over the world. The hotel is internationally recognized for its art of welcoming. In 2004 this Victorian style hotel property was classified and recognized within the “Swiss Heritage fund”.

The hotel also offers two restaurants: Jack’s Brasserie with its traditional local cuisine and “Chez Meyer’s”, a gastronomic table, where chef Michael Cochet< excels., trained with Marc Veyrat among others.
